After you sign in, tap to create an invite and send the private link to your partner, friend, or family member. When they install Tether and open the link, you're bonded and can start answering prompts together.
Make sure the other person has installed Tether and is signed in, then have them open the link again from their phone. If it still doesn't work, send a new invite from the app.
Answers are revealed only after you have both answered that day's prompt. That way neither of you is influenced by the other.
Check that notifications are turned on for Tether in your phone's Settings app. You can turn them on or off at any time.
You can dissolve a bond at any time from within the app. Neither of you will see the other's future responses, and each of you keeps your own past responses.
In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. You can also ask us to delete it by email. See Delete your account for details.
If someone is harassing or threatening you, you can block them in the app. To report abuse or content that breaks our Terms of Service, email privacy@tetherco.app with the subject "Safety Report." If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
